In our commitment to delivering the highest quality outputs, BIMIT may occasionally reject orders that do not meet our stringent criteria. This includes orders with missing, incomplete, poor quality, or hyper-complex inputs. We've outlined the potential order statuses below, their descriptions, common causes, and how such issues are typically troubleshooted:
2001 - Point cloud is misaligned
Order Status: Rejected
Error Description: Misalignment in the point cloud.
Common Causes:
Matterport Stitching
Poor Scanning Practices
Troubleshoot: BIMIT Engineering Team will evaluate and address the issue.
2002 - Point cloud is incomplete
Order Status: Rejected
Error Description: Missing necessary information needed to complete the model.
Common Causes:
User did not fully complete the scan of the Space.
Troubleshoot: BIMIT Engineering Team will evaluate and may request additional scans or data.
2003 - Requested scope is not viewable in point cloud
Order Status: Rejected
Error Description: New Orders that request a scope that is invisible, behind walls, or too high.
Common Causes:
User requested a specific scope that may not be viewable in the point cloud (e.g., A User requests the MEP scope, however, the MEP is invisible within the point cloud).
Troubleshoot: BIMIT Engineering Team will evaluate and provide guidance on feasible scopes.
2004 - Point cloud has insufficient/excessive lighting
Order Status: Rejected
Error Description: Point cloud has insufficient/excessive lighting.
Common Causes:
User scanned a Space with too much or too little light so as to clearly visualize the elements that have been requested for the BIM File.
Troubleshoot: BIMIT Engineering Team will assess and may request a rescan under optimal lighting conditions.
2005 - Point cloud has too much reflection
Order Status: Rejected
Error Description: Point cloud has excessive reflection.
Common Causes:
User may need to better trim the scan before uploading for processing.
Troubleshoot: BIMIT Engineering Team will review and provide guidance on optimal scanning practices.
2006 - Existing Space is too complex
Order Status: Rejected
Error Description: Existing architecture, MEP, and/or Furniture is too complex for LOD 200.
Common Causes:
Overly intricate architectural details or installations.
Troubleshoot: BIMIT Engineering Team will evaluate and discuss potential solutions or modifications with the user.
